June and July events

Summer is almost upon us, friends! Let the vacationing and trips to beaches commence!

It doesn’t mean we’re going to ease up, though! Far from it! Our May Drinking About Museums at the MIT Museum was a great time! About 35 of us enjoyed a tour of their new Cajal exhibition and the service at Asgard afterward. I’m very grateful to David Nuñez for organizing and Anne Neumann for leading the tour. They were excellent hosts!

June DAM in Plymouth

After a bit of a hiatus, South of Boston (SoB), Drinking about Museums is back!  Aside from good cheer in historic Plymouth, the evening will focus on what museums are we doing (or would like to do) in our work around race, gender equity and social justice.

For more details, visit the all-important Evite sign in page. Please do RSVP if you’re going, so they can know how many to expect.

July DAM/Boston VR event

The Boston VR Meetup group is having a museum-themed event in July that we’re cohosting. It will be on Monday July 23rd at Alley in Cambridge. Lots of room for talks and demos, then drinking afterward.

More details to come, but if you’re interested in demoing or speaking, let me know! And sign up on the Boston VR Meetup page, so we know who to expect.

Hope to see you out and about this summer!

Ed!
