Hola, comrades!

Three things to announce; the next DAM, the October DAM, and a special announcement from the Museums and the Web conference organizers. Onwards!

September Drinking About Museums!

Summer’s over, school’s in session! Time to come out and hang with your DAM friends on Wednesday the 26th! We’ll catch up on the Summer’s news and reviews, share what’s happening around town, and generally have a good time. Tell your friends!

Save the Date! October 24th

We’ll be having a special October DAM, to welcome a group of Johns Hopkins University Museum Studies students to the Boston area. They’ll be in the midst of a grueling days-long exploration of museums all over the Boston area, so come out and say hello!

Museums and the Web 2019 will be in Boston!

The deadline for proposals is the end of this month, so don’t delay! It promises to be an exciting time, as hundreds of colleagues from around the world descend on us to learn about what’s new and exciting in museums! Additionally, the organizers have asked me to spread around the news of the Show Your Badge program they’re working on for MW2019. If your institution is interested in extending free admittance to conference goers while Museums and the Web is in town, they’ll be happy to add your info to the conference website, and literature. Win-win! Details are here: Show your MW badge program 2019.

See you at the Kong!
